God finds someone else a job!

Some of you may already know that one of our GEN members, Greg T., has found a job (wish I had details, but I wasn't in the Tuesday meeting). We think Greg plans to attend the first GEN meeting at First United Methodist tonight (Thursday, 9/3), to share his news and witness to God's work in his life.

Greg, we're celebrating with you! Many blessings as you go forward into this new position!

Lynn and the GEN team/members

A great story

GEN-ers, be sure to ask our member Steve F. about his recent experience at the grocery store. He's got a great story to share about how God provides, and about how He works through us to minister to others!

GEN - Off to a great start!

GEN friends, we had a good turnout for our new meeting day today. We also had a wonderful phone message left by the pastor at the Church at Chapel Hill, just down the road from First Pres. Mike McDaniel called to say that he supports our job networking efforts and will post a link to our blog on his church's website. He's also going to send people in need of jobs our way. Thank you, Mike!

That's what this is all about; God's people, working together, to share hope and help.
