On May 21, Douglas County public libraries will photocopy, free of charge, up to 10 copies of your resume. This service is available from 9 am to 8 pm and includes both the library at 7100 Turner Dr, in Lithia Springs, and the branch at 6810 Selman Dr., in Douglasville.
According to today's Douglas County Sentinel, the libraries "are participating in a region-wide effort to aid residents of West Georgia" in an "attempt to help out during tough economic times."
If you need help composing a resume, ask a librarian to direct to you some of the many books and reference materials that are available.
A job networking and support resource
What is GEN?
GEN is God's Employment Network. Our free group meetings offer faith-based support and job search coaching for those in career transition. All are welcome!
GEN IS MOVING! Job leads will no longer be posted here. Instead, look for our Facebook page, God's Employment Network. Join us there to find job leads, networking opportunities, and news of our meetings. We're free and open to everyone!
Our fall kick-off meeting is Monday, Sept. 19, at 6:15 pm. We'll meet at the Douglas County Library on Selman Drive, behind Douglas County High School. Bring your resume and business cards if you have them. And bring a friend!
