Goodwill Now Hiring Employees for Hiram Store

Goodwill Now Hiring Employees for Hiram Store
Paulding County to Be Home to Goodwill’s 27th store location

Paulding County, Georgia – Goodwill of North Georgia is creating nearly 50 new jobs in Paulding County with the opening of its new Hiram store, scheduled to open in September. Paulding County has seen a major increase in the number of people applying for first time unemployment benefits. According to recent Georgia Department of Labor reports, the amount of Paulding County residents filing for first time unemployment benefits in July 2009 more than doubled from last year. “The new store presented a great opportunity for us to provide jobs during a time when many businesses are cutting their workforces,” says Goodwill’s Director of Public Relations Elaine Armstrong.

Goodwill’s Hiram store will not only create jobs, but it will also benefit people looking to save money on clothes and household items.

The agency is hiring floor, production and managerial employees. Those interested should apply in person on August 11, 12 and 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at:

Hiram Community Center
219 Main Street
Hiram, GA 30141

Applicants must bring valid United States-issued photo identification and their Social Security Card.

The new store will be located at 4749 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway. For more information about these and other job opportunities at Goodwill of North Georgia, log onto our Web site at www.goodwillng.org.
