POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor DEPT./DIVISION: Maintenance
POSITION REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager LOCATION: McDonough D.C.

Position Summary: Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage associates and activities to ensure efficient maintenance of material sortation / handling equipment, HVAC, building systems, and other equipment in accordance with company regulations and policies. Direct work of hourly maintenance associates on a daily basis in order to achieve assigned goals.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
1. Maintain knowledge of, and enforce adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping. Communicate changes to policy, new procedures, and application of safety regulations as they apply to the maintenance associates.
2. Help estimate work priorities with Manager and other PVH staff. Effectively delegate work to group members including training and performance feedback.
3. Plan and coordinate activities of associates in the maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems including: conveyors, laser scanners, automatic label printers / applicators, chain driven sortation devices and HVAC systems.
4. Plan and schedule maintenance staff work assignments including work coverage for off-hour business activities.
5. Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance associates. Apply PVH personnel and disciplinary policies as required to demonstrate consistent management across the department under all conditions.
6. Interface with other departments including Operations, IT and IE to address and resolve Maintenance issues.
7. Direct and coordinate outside contractors and vendors such as landscapers, handling equipment providers, utilities, and a wide array of facility project contractors.
8. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety.
9. Interpret vendor requirements to develop, schedule and control a preventative maintenance program.
10. Assist in developing procedures / solutions to maintenance and production problems.

11. Develop solutions and implement action plans for maintenance requests.
12. Delegate work to subordinates and ensure the timely completion of the assigned work.
13. Assist in resolution of purchasing issues as they relate to maintenance needs by interpreting manufacturer manuals and vendor catalogs for the Purchasing Agent.
14. Develop and implement cost savings (i.e. contracts, purchases, process development projects, etc.).
15. Interview vendors for information concerning maintenance products, prices, reliability, quality, and delivery dates.
16. Conduct maintenance inspections. Create tool and shop-floor systems to organize and sustain orderly tool storage and handling. Audit maintenance areas on a regular basis to identify areas of improvement. Acquire necessary tools and supplies to keep the maintenance shop and function effective and efficient.
17. Understand basic personal computer operations including sending and receiving e-mail messages.
18. Support the implementation and enforce the application of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) for the facility. Understand and demonstrate the ability to access and retrieve work order assignments and enter feedback or historical data necessary to document work performed. Lead maintenance associate training initiative for this effort.

M.H. Equipment Maint.- 1 million plus, Sortation Maint., Maint. Parts Inv., Staff Salary
Decision Making:
1. Prioritize daily work assignments of maintenance staff to ensure maximum productivity.
2. Make troubleshooting/repair recommendations to maintenance manager.
3. May substitute for Manager in his/her absence.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Prefer 2-3 years of Group Leader experience with 5-7 years of electrical, electronic, or mechanical experience in a distribution environment. Minimum five years of direct or related experience in an automated environment.
Education: High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or related discipline, or five years minimum demonstrated maintenance leadership in a distribution or manufacturing environment…. Or…
Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree in administration, management, personnel management, or any other discipline with about 2 – 3 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
Skills: Must possess leadership skills, troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of electrical systems, and excellent communication skills.

POSITION TITLE: Purchasing / Maintenance Clerk
DEPT./DIVISION: Maintenance
POSITION REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager/Supervisor
LOCATION: McDonough D.C.
Position Summary: Purchases tools, equipment, packaging, office supplies, and raw materials as needed to support the McDonough, Ga. automated distribution center operations. Executes contracts, and builds relationships with outside suppliers as required to acquire necessary items for the effective performance of the McDonough site. Performs limited typing and clerical duties for maintenance and operations functions. Obtains competitive price quotes for various purchases including operational supplies and maintenance parts inventory. Upon authorization, forwards purchase requests and orders to designated vendor. This position leads the Purchasing module of the site computerized maintenance management (MP2) program.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:
1. Research and locate applicable vendors, conduct interviews / meetings with suppliers in order to facilitate timely and effective acquisition of items.Obtain competitive quotes and forward authorized purchase requisitions to designated vendor.
2. Perform procurement follow-up and evaluate vendor conformance to terms of the purchase agreement including order expediting.
3. Perform invoice reconciliation and complete weekly accounts payable and monthly accrual reports.
4. Assist Parts Clerk in maintaining appropriate inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
5. Maintain inventory of all specified shipping and production materials (i.e. Cardboard, paper, labels, ribbon, etc.). Support other miscellaneous operational requirements required on a daily basis.
6. Maintain supply room inventory of general operations-based items and office supplies. Manage the issuance and re-order activity of this inventory for the site.
7. Responsible for data input and maintenance of MP2 maintenance system from a Purchasing perspective.
8. Develop various reports / spreadsheets as needed both out of the MP2 system and from spreadsheet software.

9. Request needed MSDS sheets for all chemicals and other items requiring such documentation.
11. Maintain purchasing records and document departmental cost savings.
12. Use company vehicle if required to run errands and purchase miscellaneous supplies
13. Coordinate the return and repair of TF equipment, power supplies, scanners, and replacement parts for maintenance.
14. Perform clerical / administrative assistance for maintenance staff.
15. Monitor and track equipment assignments (i.e. Personal protective equipment, walkie-talkies, powered vehicles).
16. Serve as back-up to switchboard operator when needed and support Parts Clerk in his/her capacity.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Decision Making: Research and selection of qualified suppliers including significant external input. Supplier management and relations rest to a limited extent on this position and require daily business acumen to conscientiously manage priorities.

Determine list of vendors to contact for various requests. Reconcile all accounts payable and forwards to corporate office after obtaining appropriate signatures.

Fast paced with numerous interruptions and demands.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Purchasing background is a plus.
