The newspaper also has an ad today for a news reporter. A journalisn or degree or equivalent experience is required. They prefer reporting/writing experience on a weekly or small daily paper but say they will train the right person. The beat includes city government, police dept., fire dept. and courts. Saturdays and some evenings are required. Photography skills are a plus.
