GENCO has an immediate opening for a Shipping Supervisor with our GENCO Pharmaceutical Services division located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a 250,000 square foot facility operating two shifts with approximately 500 teammates.
The Supervisor is responsible for:

Establishing cost effective contacts / agreements with local contractors & transportation carriers
Assisting in receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory records and initiating procurement request for needed inventory
Utilizing root cause analysis methods and implementing solutions
Preparing and reconciling required production and inventory reports
Handling internal customer concerns timely and effectively
Assuring safe attainment of facility quality and performance objectives
Assisting in meeting facility production, quality and safety goals
Overseeing schedules and maintaining timely and accurate shipments
Training and updating teammates on job functions and procedures
Supervising and coaching teammates
Performing safety and HAZMAT training

The successful candidate will have:

A BA/BS degree in Logistics or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
Two (2) plus years experience in a supervisory capacity
Previous Safety and HAZMAT training experience
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Prioritization and problem solving skills essential
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectively interact with GENCO customers and teammates
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required, Access experience preferred
Previous WMS/ RF or related experience is preferred
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies and/or Green Belt certification preferred
Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment
