If you're looking for an IT job in the Atlanta/Perimeter Mall area...Auto Auction Services has two programming jobs, plus one for a lower level sys admin position. They said they're going to hold off for awhile before they post these with a recruiter.
The jobs are for a Java developer and a C++/EDI developer. The sys-admin position requirements are being worked on and will be presented shortly.

The application server is BEA Weblogic running on Solaris against an Oracle database. We have standalone C++ applications that are used for entering and searching vehicle information.
Customers can enter data into our system via the website, EDI, and the C++ application.

· Help code and test LiveCRwriter C++ code. (Windows Vista/XP, MS Visual Studio 9.0, SQL)
· Help code and test CRPrinter C++ code. (Windows Vista/XP, MS Visual Studio 9.0, ActiveX, HTML, Java Script, SQL)
· Help code and test Hound Dog C++ code. (Windows Vista/XP, MS Visual Studio 9.0, Unix C programming, Unix file system)
· Add new codes to database from customer requests. (SQL)
· Respond to technical direction from Application Lead and administrative direction from Manager
Required Skills:
· B.S/M.S. - Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited school
· 6+ years of software development experience required
· 4+years of solid C/C++ programming experience required (Unix C, Windows Vista/XP, MS Visual Studio)
· Some RDBMS and SQL experience required (Oracle a plus)
· Strong Analytical and problem solving skills required.
· Excellent communication and writing skills required.
· Must be a quick learner and a self-starter
