Official Title: System Support Specialist II Location: Georgia Tech College of Management - IT Services Duties: This position will serve as the technical lead for IT operational support for the College of Management (CoM) and will report to the CTO of the College. This position will establish technical and configuration standards and serve as a senior technical resource for the IT Services team, as well as administer and oversee all CoM servers and outsourced services. This position will also be the primary support for data management tasks associated with the College’s enterprise CRM system (Talisma). Responsibilities: • Serve as technical lead and resource to other IT staff members • Provide advanced end-user support for technical issues • Manage servers and outsourced IT services • Manage (update, configure, and audit) end-user systems w/ enterprise tools • Perform lightweight development of database webforms • CRM system data management including configuration of imports and exports • Generate reports / analytics from CRM system • Coordinate student workers • Establish and document standards Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: Required Competencies / Experience: • Windows Server Administration • Active Directory Administration (esp. policy and scripting) • TCP/IP Networking • Windows PC Support (XP, Vista, 7) • Enterprise Management Tools (LanDesk or equivalent) • Understanding of relational database concepts • Strong written, verbal, and organization skills • Attention to detail Desired Skills / Experience: • Familiarity with CRM systems • Familiarity with data manipulation/import • Familiarity with building complex reports from database queries • .NET visual basic coding for web forms • Work experience in higher education • Project management
Location: Atlanta, GA (Georgia Tech)
Compensation: $50,490 - $64,380
