Starting Mon, June 14, First Presbyterian Church is offering a LifeKeys Seminar in conjunction with our GEN meetings. GEN will meet a half hour earlier, from 6 to 7 pm, and Lifekeys will run from 7 to 8 pm. If you're already signed up for Lifekeys, please plan to join us. If you're not--it isn't too late. Email Lynn@fpcdouglasville.org and we'll fax you a registration form. The cost for a workbook is $11, and some scholarships may still be available.
If you're asking, "What is LifeKeys?" here's a short description: It's a six-week program that will help you answer the questions:
Who am I?
What am I here for?
What is it that I do best?
LifeKeys explores your special talents, spiritual gifts, and passions, and helps you develop a life statement to live by. You'll also learn how to work through career and life changes, and develop your usefulness to God. Participants often develop relationships that continue past the 6-week worship as they live out their faith journeys.
Again, it's not too late to enroll. Contact the FPC office by email or phone (770-942-0710).
A job networking and support resource
What is GEN?
GEN is God's Employment Network. Our free group meetings offer faith-based support and job search coaching for those in career transition. All are welcome!
GEN IS MOVING! Job leads will no longer be posted here. Instead, look for our Facebook page, God's Employment Network. Join us there to find job leads, networking opportunities, and news of our meetings. We're free and open to everyone!
Our fall kick-off meeting is Monday, Sept. 19, at 6:15 pm. We'll meet at the Douglas County Library on Selman Drive, behind Douglas County High School. Bring your resume and business cards if you have them. And bring a friend!
