Job Title: Electronic Technician

Position Responsible for the installation and repair of all plant electrical and Summary: electronic systems for maintenance, PM’s and Projects.
Work on various types of electrical and electronic equipment and related devices by performing one or a combination of installation, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, modifying, constructing, and testing.
Responsibilities:
• Executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance, electrical and electronic repair, or other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage and work orders.
• Responsible for assigned project work in the implementation of plant capital and expense projects.
• Responsible for the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, safety, and housekeeping policies.
• Trouble shoots, repair and maintain plant equipment as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Respond to start up or trouble alarms.
• Responsible for all company tools and equipment.
Education/Qualifications:
• Ability to work overtime, some weekends and call in's.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good organizational and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Thorough mechanical knowledge of plant equipment.
• Minimum of five years experience in industrial mechanical/electrical and electronic maintenance.
• Certified courses in electrical and electronics from accredited school; college is a plus.
• Electrician skills
• Electronic technology knowledge.
• A.C. and D.C. drive operation, programming and troubleshooting.
• Electronic blueprint reading.
• Programmable logic controller operation, programming and troubleshooting
• Thorough electrical and electronic knowledge of plant equipment includes: Vo/Tech certificate/degree program applied toward general knowledge of understanding and troubleshoot AC and DC drives, AC and DC motors, relay and solid state control systems, temperature controllers and systems, use of oscilloscope and other test instruments. Manufacturers schooling in AC and DC drive, Scanners, and PLC's. Ability to rebuild electronic boards and components.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Able to design/program PLC drives coordinate systems.

Summary: including upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment and plant mechanical and electrical systems. Support Production Team Leaders with start-up and trouble alarms.
FLSA Status Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
• Executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, fork lift repair, or other duties as assigned.
• Works on various types of mechanical equipment and related devices by performing a combination of the following: installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, trouble-shooting, constructing, testing, and the precision measuring of machine parts.
• Provides a practical application of technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles; develops the ability to determine electro-mechanical malfunctions, and the skills to put equipment in required operating condition by repairing, modifying, or setting up in a production atmosphere.
• Periodically perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment as determined by the manufacturer's recommendations or as required based on operating experience.
• Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage and work orders.
• Responsible for assigned project work in the implementation of plant capital and expense projects.

Or minimum of 5 years experience in machine shop operations. Demonstrate capability to produce precision finished parts for the storeroom. Ability to operate CNC type machining and EDM equipment.

Job Title: Process Assistant (12 Hour Rotating Shift)

Reports to: Production Teamleader and/or Process Lead to which they are assigned
Position Performs primarily material handling assignments and is in training to learn Summary: an assigned process.
Responsibilities:
• Performs start-up and shutdown operations and the handling of materials to and from the production process as assigned by the process lead or process tech.
• Assists machine operator as directed in maintaining high levels of productivity, product quality and work area housekeeping.
• Once experience levels are achieved, is expected to accept higher level responsibilities as assigned by process lead or teamleader. Continually increase job knowledge on each process assigned, so as to be able to work as dictated by production scheduling and manpower availability.
• Performs general indirect labor assignments as directed by the team leader, as well as, plant housekeeping duties.
• Assigned to continuously inspect the product for quality defects, reporting all defects to the process lead.
• Performs product-packaging assignments as dictated by each product. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Handle the flow of materials both to and from the processes to include raw resin materials, reel carts, supplies and finished product.
• May perform other duties as requested.
Education/Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 6 months production/ manufacturing experience
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a 12 Hour Rotating Shift
• Ability to work weekends

• Ability to work on elevated platforms, to climb ladders and to descend and work in small areas below floor level with frequent steps up and down on work platforms.
• Ability to work and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to grasp, grip and utilize hand tools.
• Satisfactory or corrected vision, to allow for working around moving equipment, to drive automotive or lift vehicles and to distinguish between material/product shapes, colors, etc.
• Intermediate level of decision making and problem solving capabilities, in order to assist with the set-up and shutdown of the processes and to maintain quality.
• Ability to gather, classify and transcribe process information and to perform the necessary calculations and analysis.
