POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with branches, distribution centers, and/or sales departments in management of accounts receivable for a specific portfolio of customer accounts.
• Provide guidance and support for credit functions maintained to include collection of past due accounts and monitoring of Credit Hold and COD list.
• Establish and maintain customer relations on all issues related to credit and collections.
• Daily monitoring of the customer accounts in order to maintain and reconcile accounts.
• Research cash application issues to include identification and resolution of unapplied payments and unauthorized deductions.
• Process credit applications and maintain credit limits.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-year college degree and at least 2 years work experience. Prior relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirements.
• Good oral and written communication skills in dealing with customers as well as good organizational skills in order to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
• Must be detailed orientated with good numerical aptitude.
• Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Excel. SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Generally respect and integrate the sales to credit relationship.
