SUMMARY: The Assistant Property Accounts Manager is responsible for compiling and sorting documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions, verifying and posting details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totaling accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases. This position is also responsible for computing and recording charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items. The Assistant Property Accounts Manager prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy, reconciles bank statements, monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date, and reconciles report discrepancies and problems. Other responsibilities include coding data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures and providing back-up support to the mall secretary as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Accounting.

SKILLS: Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong background in all aspects of accounting functions to include AP, AR, invoicing, financial statement preparation plus a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and AS400. Knowledge of CTI is also a plus.
